About Us
TSK Scotland was established as a Karate Association in 1999 by Sensei Pat McLuskey 6th Dan Black Belt. The Association practices the ancient martial art of Traditional Shotokan Karate which originated in Japan in the late 19th Century by Gichin Funakoshi.
The Chief Instructor of the association is Sensei Pat McLuskey who has practiced Karate for over 35 Years and is a World Silver Medallist. He is recognised by many as one of the greatest Karate exponents of all time. His deep understanding and dynamic technical mastery of the art has seen him travel the world teaching the art. He is regularly invited to instruct at international training courses at some of the world’s leading karate schools. Assistant Chief Instructor, Sensei Jo-Ann Kennedy (4th Dan), was one of Scotland’s youngest female black belts.
The Association has its Headquarters in the Lagoon Leisure Centre. With over 100 students, TSK Scotland is one of the fastest growing Associations in Scotland. For more information about TSK Scotland please visit the Contact Details page.
